At the age of 40 Esther’s childhood dream finally came true and she trained as an actor, studying for an MA in Acting at ArtsEd, London. Leaving behind her career in financial services, and thanks to an impersonation of Joanna Lumley, she discovered audiobook narrating. 280 books and 3 Earphone Awards later she spends her working life in a padded box talking to herself in different voices, including a wide array of accents, covering many different genres and all imaginable characters. When not narrating Esther is usually found browsing bookshops, writing, reading or listening to books, walking her crazy hound, or hanging out with her children.
