Samantha Desz

I’m an NYC-based, classically trained actor with an extensive background in theater, as both an actor and producer. I now work primarily as an audiobook narrator and voice actor with several Earphone Awards and almost 150 titles between me and my romance/erotica pseudonym Anastasia Watley. My favorite genres include so many, but leading the pack are always mystery/thriller, magical realism/fantasy, complex and multi-layered fiction, and anything with a smart, snarky, funny, tough leading lady. I also regularly narrate long-form journalism for the NY Times and Audm, which helps to satisfy my insatiable appetite for news. When I’m not in the booth, I’m probably wrangling my twin toddlers and/or cleaning up their chaos. Or hopefully enjoying some good wine, good food, and good cocktails with good company and conversation — there is just absolutely nothing like the satisfying mess and laughter after a long dinner with your favorite people!
