When another ancient is murdered, Lyssandra alone cannot resist Asher’s call.
Aiding him means going against the Potentate’s direct orders, and she won’t bring Steifan and Tholdri down with her.
But the murder isn’t the only problem. Mysterious shadows stalk a nearby village, and ghouls are roaming free.
