If you haven't read this book, read it now. It's some of the best storytelling I've ever experienced, coupled with R.C Bray's awesome narration. This book is engaging and in my opinion this is how the new Star Wars should have been made."

Peter Berkrot masterfully narrates the final adventure in the Alpha World series. The series comes full circle with Alburet and his allies journeying to the Lost Prison of Alctriuz for an epic raid. The story alternates between drama, thriller, and romance with the steady game-like feel of the LitRPG genre. Berkrot maintains a gravelly timbre and an almost sinister tone throughout, skipping from character to character with engaging agility. From an Irish brogue to an elderly voice that cracks with age, the eclectic voices sound dynamic. Each character thrums with life, and their personality bleeds through Berkot's own voice. The story races toward a rewarding conclusion for series fans, yet this entrancing adventure will also pull in newcomers.

Podehl uses contrasting voices for each character, showcasing their unique attributes so the listener can easily determine whose story is being told despite the complexity of the plot. Podehl smoothly traverses the social dynamics of this world, lending sensitivity to the scenes that depict society, sexuality, and spirituality.

Pavi Proczko continues narrating the series that brings to life the adventures of Drew Liam (a.k.a. "Teach"). A human being capable of magic, Teach gets into all sorts of trouble trying to prevent, or least delay, the apocalypse. Re-Haan, his dragon mistress, isn't helping much as Teach teleports around the universe. Proczko animates Teach's conversations with Re-Haan as Teach goes in search of a monster he is supposed to destroy. Proczko seems to have fun with the dialogue of a variety of students and other creatures he encounters, some of whom deliver death threats but none of whom seem to treat Teach with an overabundance of respect. Profanity and sexual content proliferate, but it's all part of Teach's persona.
