Jess was born and raised in Ohio, but has spent the last several years hopping around the United States with her military husband, their two children, and two giant dogs. When she's not writing, you can find her drinking coffee, reading, or making something with her hands! She has been an avid fantasy reader her whole life and is thrilled she gets to bring her own stories to life.
